"Hmm..." Satoshi walked out of the village gates and began to enter the dark moonlit forest. The forest was vast and green, filled with leaves on trees, grass along the ground, flowers amongst the scenery. It was beautiful. Satoshi loved being in the forest, it was more his home than his house. He couldn't help but burst out into laughter whenever he entered the forest, jumping from tree limb to tree limb, catching fireflies in his hands and letting them go. He was happy for once. His depression couldn't get him here. As Satoshi played he entered a small clearing, about twenty feet around. He laid in the clearing, looking up to the stars. He decided that the best time to train would be when he was happy, that meant his head would be as clear as ever.

He had a scroll on him, a scroll that had the hand seals for a very unique Mokuton no Jutsu, Mokuton: Shihai Tsurukasa. As he performed the hand seals he attempted to force his chakra into nearby vines only to watch them do nothing. He didn't want to do this all night so he had to figure out how to accomplish this jutsu and quick. Performing the jutsu again the tips, the first inch to be specific, of the vines began to slowly move although unable to be seen by the naked eye moving about a millimeter a second. Satoshi didn't even know he was moving them albeit slower than anyone would want.

Elena had been looking for a place to clear her mind all day. After being surrounded by people, she had only wanted to be alone. She found herself away from her own village but didn't care much, she just kept walking, admiring the scenery. It had been awhile since Elena had been on her own. It's not that she did not like the company but some times at the end of the day she needed to step away from society.

After an hour or so of just walking through the forest, she came to a clearing. It was empty from what she could tell, and very peaceful. She walked near the center of it and took place on the dew covered grass. It was late and very dark but the moon covered everything with the perfect amount of light. The whole area looked dream like. The grass glistened from the radient moon, along with the leaves high up on the trees. She laid back relaxing, letting her head meet the ground cousioned by lushious grass. The animals were asleep by now and all you could hear was the cripping of the crickets. This is what Elena loved the most. To be alone, like her days as a child, except now she knew the times to be social and times to be distant.

Elena heard someone's mumbling and shot up. She had thought she was alone and realising she wasn't frightened her a tad. She stood up, deciding to investigate due to her advanturous nature, and saw someone. The mustn't have noticed her yet. They seemed to be struggling with something of a sort.

Hello? She approched them, hoping not to frighten them as they had done to her accidently.

Another trip gone to waste.. Ugh. The young man in the tattered crimson cloak was walking from the West. He made a little trip to try and find more of his mystery of a heritage, but alas failed. All he knew of his life was his expectations and goals, and what he was. He was a funninjutsu user, and he planned on carrying his family name of Setsuna of powerful sealers. Zerus wore a black tool vest under his crimson cloak, which showed different bumps, which suggested his Seal Scrolls were on his person. With every step, his cloak bounced off his back, revealing a few kunai and some wire laced through his shirt.

As he crossed into the land of fire, he began on a dirt path that lead towards Konohagakure, the ninja village he was raised in. He planned on returning there and possibly setting out again sometime, but first a much needed R&R was to be done. He stayed on this moonlit path for a while, passing by the candlelit country settlements that lead to the famous ninja village. The wind was at a calm period right now, so he didn't have to do his occasional "brush hair out of face" thing. As his mind drifted off thinking about things such as these, he heard something in the distance, ripping him from his day dream. The moon shown down on him, revealing his crimson crisp hues glowing in the dark.

Zerus then went off into a nearby forest and pulled a Kunai out and held it firmly in his hand. He slowly paced around in the forest and awaited for another call, or sign to alert him of his possible threat. At that moment he heard a twig crunch behind him, and tall blades of grass getting crushed down and dieing. He quickly made an about face and came to meet his eyes with a wild black bear. Zerus eyes shot open, his pupil's beginning to dilate. As adrenaline began coursing though his blood stream and body, he met the fight for flight choice. He quickly analyzed his thoughts and the situation at hand, and it seemed grim. He was unprepared and tired, not a good condition for fighting a ferocious animal such as this. Zerus decided now would be the time to move.

Before Zerus could finish processing his thoughts, the bear was already running towards him. He quickly jumped left and dodged, as he then soon after had a perfect chance to strike. He took it. He lashed out his kunai and went in for a cut. He was able to pierce the skin of the bear and made a decent impact. He noticed this by just watching the bear jolt in pain. He now had the upper hand. He pulled out another kunai for his other hand and then dashed towards the bear. He held his arms in an X formation and right as he was behind the bear, he jumped up and went in with a double kunai strike, straight for the bear's back. As the two kunai's ripped through the bear's pelt, it growled and whined in pain. Soon after, it went unconscious. Zerus realized he must leave before it awakes, as he doesn't want to cause any more harm. He went back to his trail and decided getting home sooner now, would be better.

He began running down the path at a breakneck pace, avoiding anything near him. He didn't pay a bit of attention to his surroundings, just the path. He didn't want to find anything worse then that bear, but he knew if he took his time, he would. As he started to get near Konoha, something odd caught the ears of Zerus. It was a human voice, and it seemed to mumble something out of anger, or something of the sort. Zerus came to an abrupt stop and then listened to hear for any more signs. He heard some sounds coming from the little clearing through the bushes. Zerus went to investigate, and to his surprise, he found a blue haired man.

Who...Are you..?

"Well I must be the worst shinobi in Konoha if two of you managed to walk right up to me without me noticing!" A light chuckle came from Satoshi's mouth. He wondered why he didn't run when he heard them coming. Two different movements in the forest and he still decided to just continue and train. It could have been that he thought they were harmless animals or that he truly wasn't afraid, only Satoshi knew that.

As Satoshi came to see a young man and a younger girl walk from two different places in the clearing, he pulled a kunai ever so slowly and slipped it into his sleeve. These weren't Konoha shinobi he was dealing with. As they came he began to perform his jutsu again and again but to no avail. It was two dark for him to see their movements clearly so for them to see his hands was unlikely. Satoshi felt something on his second try. He felt a single vine hover from a tree about an inch from the branch and fall. He was beginning to get it. He had to stop however as the two began to speak. Answering them he said: "My name is Satoshi, I am a Konohagakure Shinobi. Who are you two?"

By this time the kunai knife was up his sleeve ready to be unconcealed and thrown at the nearest target, should one of them become a target. Satoshi's hat also had a kunai on the inner brim for if he needed a kunai he would simply take his hat off like any other person, grabbing the kunai and throwing it with a spinning motion dropping his hat in the process.

Elena wasn't scared anymore. They seemed harmless enough. I am Elena, and a Kumogakure Shinobi. She marched up closer to get a better view of the other two, observing their hands for anything that might be used in an attack. She had noticed the shinny tip of a kunai up the sleeve of the shinobi that introduced himself as Satoshi's. She cautiously backed up a little. Although he seemed harmless, anyone with a kunai should be seen as a threat.

Erm, there is no need for that, is there? She nervously laughed and eyed the tip.

Zerus listened as the blue haired man let out a fake laugh and horrible joke. Obviously he was hiding something, but what? He watched the man take attention off of Zerus and the other shinobi, and realized he must be confident to divert attention from potential harm. He analyzed the blue haired shinobi's movement and watched carefully, as he seemed to be a bigger threat then the shinobi. I am Elena, and a Kumogakure Shinobi. That little noise dragged over Zerus' attention and he noticed Elena come closer to himself and Satoshi. Erm, there is no need for that, is there? Elena then chuckled a bit as her eyes met somewhere on Satoshi's person.

After hearing Elena mention something that wasn't necessary, Zerus scanned the Konohagakure shinobi and noticed a Kunai. Stand down Satoshi.. I too am from Konoha, but she doesn't seem to be of a threat. I am Zerus. And with that, Zerus motioned back a little. He had Kunai at the ready, and also moved himself in position to take out a scroll if necessary. He was not afraid of the Kumogakure shinobi Elena due to the fact she seemed friendly and portraying no harm, but this Satoshi character was something else. Satoshi was on edge and ready to kill. However he could not exclude Elena from this, for you can't judge someone with just one act. There needs to be more in order for a true evaluation to be made.

Say..What ranks are you two..? Zerus was curious as to how strong these people were, and were going to attempt to judge them by rank. If they were above Genin, Zerus would be on his way. A bear was one thing, but a chuunin is just trouble. Zerus kept shifting his eyes from Elena to Satoshi. Once more he took a step back, and shifted his body again so a scroll and kunai could be pulled out. His weapons were concealed under his cloak, shirt, and jacket. The moonlight sky also aided a tad. He wanted to be more careful as to not alert anyone such as Satoshi did.

"I am a Gennin." Said Satoshi. "I was in the middle of training, if I could just go back to it, I would appreciate that." Satoshi began to perform hand seals as he attempted his jutsu yet again. The jutsu failed and nothing happened at all. He didn't know what was wrong. He tried his hardest to make it work, he was pouring chakra into vines all around him yet no movement in the slightest. Again he tried it and the same thing happened, or didn't happen. "Argh.... I hate training some times."

I too am a Genin. Elena said to Zerus. She turned her attention to Satoshi who had mentioned that he was training. . Would you mind if I trained wtih you? She walked even closer to Satoshi and Zerus. The greetings were in place and she no longer had any fears of something bad happening.

Zerus observed as Satoshi continued training. Perhaps he had no fear of him and Elena, but that would be an idiotic thought. As the girl came closer Zerus only backed up more as he was not one to take chances such as this, and was honestly prepared to face both of them. They both wanted to train, when Zerus decided he would do something possibly stupid on his part, but since he's confident, perhaps he could pull this off. Alright if you want to train.. How about you two versus me? Zerus grew a cocky look on his face being he just stated such a question. This was either suicide or a great method of training, either which could prove useful.

He readied himself as he watched the two's response to his question. He once again, for the third time now, positioned himself to take out a tool. However, he readied a scroll laced with a kunai for himself, and readied to quickly pull it out and throw it with his dominant hand, his right hand. In his left hand, he prepped a belt of three kunai to be thrown at who and wherever his scroll goes near by, being the scroll can add as a distraction while his kunai belt inflicts damage.

"Heh... I think the best way to learn a jutsu is during combat... I'm up for it..." Once he finished his sentence he began to perform his jutsu. He began to execute handseals with intense speed, unfortunately too fast, causing him to slip up. As he slipped up he jumped into the air throwing the kunai in his sleeve toward his new male opponent. "And as for you, you have no choice!" Once this sentence was finished he grabbed for his hat, spinning in mid-air and pulling something from it. As he pulled his hand away from his hat, he chucked his newest kunai at the girl Elena. As he began to fall toward the ground he attempted to perform his jutsu once more, this time slower, yet even then he slipped up, failing the jutsu immediately.

Elena sighed. She had only wanted to go for a relaxing time in the forest, but was now comfronted by two male Shinobis who wanted to fight. This was not at all her idea of a relaxing afternoon. With that thought, she had merely seconds to react to the kunai being thrown at her. She quickly jumped out of the way of the kunai and realized she had not prepped herself like these males had when she saw their presence with her. Lesson learned: Never be unprepared. She thought about siting out, but Satoshi had already attacked her with a kunai so she figured it was too late to turn back now.

She quickly reached in her pouch of kunai and grabbed two kunais, throwing them at each of the shinobis. She hadn't been in a battle in a while and she deffinatly knew that now was not the best time to be fighting, being caught off guard, but not just one but two shinobis. But then again she didn't have much of a choice now, she could only go along and hope not to be killed in the middle of all this.

Now.. Prepare to meet my Seal Arts..

Soon after, Zerus dodged Satoshi's first kunai with a roll to the left. He did such with ease, as he then saw Elena's kunai. Zerus reached and grabbed Satoshi's kunai, which he shortly after threw to clash with Elena's in mid air. Zerus then flicked a kunai through his jacket and readied it with his hand, having a scroll laced with it. He aimed and precisely threw it at a tree across the clearing. As it soared through the air, the scroll began to unravel a tad, revealing a few unique and intricate seals. As the kunai made contact with the tree, it pinned the scroll to the tree.

Zerus then placed his hands together and made a clap, as chakra quickly surged in his body and raced to his hands. Zerus then made his hands quickly thrust to the ground as a small amount of the chakra went out and created a large seal. Zerus then once again put his hands to the ground, surging chakra now into the newly crafted seal. It began to glow as the glow revealed Zerus' crimson eyes and an evil smirk. At that instant, Zerus disappeared. It was unknown where he went, until coming from the scroll was three laced kunai's in a barrage format heading for Elena and a dark cloaked figure covering the scroll. This figure was Zerus who used his Kekkai Genkai to arrive here and those kunai's had been sneaked in from his new location straight to Elena, with much force.

Satoshi wasn't going to allow this man to attack a girl rather than fight him, he saw this as a way to disgrace him. As Satoshi saw the kunai leave him and soar toward the girl Sato quickly threw three kunai at the man and as fast as he could jumped into the air sending a flash kick toward a thin tree branch. As the tree branch was struck it broke and flew into the path of the kunai that his opponent had thrown. While in mid-air he used Kawarimi no Jutsu on the flying branch and switched places with it. Once the smoke disappeared and he was in view he pulled a kunai from his pouch and slashed at two of the kunai only to be struck in the shoulder by the third. Bleeding, he hit the ground rolling, only to end up at the girls feet. "Go and fight! Don't expect me to save you again!" Just as he did this he pulled the bloody kunai from his shoulder and began to dash towards his true opponent the black haired male who had just thrown a kunai into him. Running he hopped high into the sky sending an ax kick toward him as he began to fall to the ground. The kick was aimed toward his shoulder as Sato's way of getting back at him for stabbing him.

Elena watched as Satoshi jumped into the path of the kunai which was directed for her. She was curious as to why he would do this but disregarded his motives. Go and fight! Don't expect me to save you again! Elena looked down at Satoshi then back up to Zerus, taking out another two kunais. She eyed Zerus' position and threw the kunais as fast and accurate as she could directly to him. With all the comotion she had a hard time concentrating, something she desparatly needed to work on.

Zerus quickly pulled his scroll out of the tree and threw it once again across the battlefield to a new location with force, so it wouldn't get damaged by the incoming Kunais. Zerus then attempted to dodged but was hit slightly with one kunai, but it only skinned him. Zerus then laced another scroll into his jacket and tossed it across the battlefield, with the same outcome as the first, it slightly unraveling and pinning against a tree. Zerus then looked back at Elena and noticed two kunai coming at him. He pulled one kunai from his jacket to deflect them. He did such with ease, as he then looked up and saw Satoshi coming in with an Axe kick. Oh, so we're playing the double team game huh?

Zerus said this in a cocky tone as he saw a bloody Satoshi about to make contact with him. Zerus shifted quickly to the left and rolled, which seemed to be all he was doing in this battle sadly. But it was time for things to change. In mid-roll, he crafted a seal on the ground and then once more poured chakra into it, taking it three seconds to glow. See ya.. He said in a cocky kind of tone. He then vanished into his seal and had teleported to one of three places. His original seal, or one of the two scrolls. This added more distraction and time, as he quickly preformed Kawarimi no Jutsu with a branch above him. He then had his clone lay in wait next to one of the scrolls, and sneakily and quietly, leaped tree from tree outside the small clearing to get closer and closer to Satoshi.

"Damn it!" Satoshi yelled. His wound was beginning to hurt more and more with every breath. As he began to breathe harder and harder, the blood began to pour from his wound. "That's what I get for being stubborn I suppose..." And as soon as this was said he walked toward the village only to stumble and fall to the ground. When he hit the ground he began to crawl, slower and slower until he came to a full stop. His heart had pumped so much blood that it seemed as though he was going to pass out any moment. Within seconds he dropped to the ground, lacking movement and barely pushing out any breathe from his lungs.

Gosh darnit. Elena saw Satoshi fall to the ground due to the wound caused by helping her. She rushed over to his side and pushed him softly, as an attempt to get a response. She had forgotten she was still in a battle, but didn't care, seeing as she could not fight off this guy on her own. Sighing, she took out her medipack. She took out the bandaging, healing ointment, scissors, and safety pins, closing her pack when done taking out the needed equipment. Elena observed the wound.

Let's get to work. Elena poked at the wound once softly to see if she'd get a reaction which she didn't. First she smeared the ointment on the wound to clot the bleeding and to disinfect it from any bacteria that might have been on the kunai thrown at him. Once that was done she wraped the bandaging around his arm a couple times, tightly, using about 3ft of it. She neatly snipped off the 3 feet from the rest of the bandaging. Once she was sure it was tight and secure enough, she used two safety pins to keep it in place.

Good as new! Elena smiled at her work. She loved using her medipack when ever she had the chance. She sat there for a minute, just looking at him lay there before she decided it might be best to try and get him back to his village. She didn't know if she could carry him very far but decided to give it a try. She picked him up with struggle and held him over her shoulder. She struggled forward but knew she couldn't stop. He had helped her and now she had to help him. So she continued, stumbling forward but always staying on her feet.
